One of my favorite musicians, Jeff Healey, died yesterday after a life-long battle with cancer.

Saw him in concert a few years back in Copenhagen... had a drink with him in a bar afterwards... that was the kind of bloke he was.

Sad news indeed. I never got to see him live but I have all his albums. I can't get my head round how he played that guitar, it's fascinating to see.

Maybe everyone else is playing it wrong?

I've just bought Adventures in Jazzland and was looking forward to more of the same stuff. Hopefully his new Album will do well.

I wasn't being mean because the guy was a genius but sometimes when things are out of the norm it makes you wonder how it happened.
Perhaps he used to play piano and when a guitar was put in his hands he put it in the same position and nobody bothered to tell him.

I just found out today...very sad news. I only found out about him a few years ago by watching Road House and ever since then i have been hooked on his music, A very talented guy.
