Jeremy Beadle passes away

Very sad news :(

A work college was around his house not that long ago with Ken Campbell and a load of actors doing some crazy improvisation thing. You should see the library he had in his gaff, it was amazing and almost as big as my local

R.I.P Jeremy :(

Great shame, was a good man, never knew about charity or illness, life just dealt him a bad hand(not sure if its been said but it just had to be!)

Shame, really, he will always be a legend :)

Any chance someone could update the thread title to something a little more specific than "Jeremy Beadle"? It's a little shocking going into a thread expecting some light-hearted humour, only to find it's about his death!

But yes, RIP.

I remember a Saturday night in my younger days with Game for a laugh on the telly before we went out, came as a shock this morning to hear he'd died. Jeremy was the ultimate prankster.

RIP :(

Very sad news :(.
We used to sit and watch Beadles About every Saturday evening, very funny show. Didn't know about his charity work but it would appear that he was clearly very dedicated to it.

RIP

One of few celebs I've spoken to. I remember asking about the Arsenal.. I tried to pull a gag but he didn't laugh.. Was a few years back..

"Watch out Beadles about (or not about now)" and "You've been framed" were cool back then .. Shame they've been flogged to death.. Opps bad pun!

RIP JB

Yes people don't realise just how incredibly well read and knowledgeable the man was. I heard him do a few shows on Talk Radio (now talkSport) where he covered all manner of subjects. I distinctly remember one about crime and punishment in Georgian and Victorian times....was fascinating.

Well wasn't he on mastermind (celebrity) and his subject was something like London Murders 1900-1940 ?

A great loss, maybe not for comedy, because he was underrated there by all, but you can't ignore £13m of charity work. How many "celebrities" can claim anywhere near that?

Bob Geldof doesn't count, because he's a ****.

RIP. Knew he was ill in hospital. Bummer. Loved watching him when i was growing up. The dodgy pics are coming round the office now with the bad jokes.. oh dear
