I want to start reading a new book, but i want it to be someone i like, find amusing/interesting/a personality/something which will make me want to keep reading.

And this guy does, i think he is awsome and i am a big fan of him, but more to the point, i always drop into WHSmiths when ever i get a few extra pounds to buy a book/autobiography inparticular.

Now i can never find Jeremy's, now why is that? Its because he has so many books out! I just cant find it, i dont know which it is, and they dont have it on the shelves i dont think.

So does anyone here know which it is? And does anyone know any good review sites for books?

Ive bought Chris Gardners Persuit of Happyness (spelt like that!), it is taking a while to arrive and im getting anxious so..

Let me know if you know anything :)

Cheers and good evening.

James.

Lol the trouble with autobiographies and biographies these days is that they're from sports people who haven't even finished their sport/won anything (Lewis Hamilton...Ashley Cole), or from spastic minded ex-big brother contestants :/ Epic failure for printing....

I havn;t seen his autobiography, I don't know if he's written one?

I'm 17 and i rather enjoyed Gordon Ramsay's autobioraphy "humble pie" it changed my opinion of him a lot.

I loved this dude anyway and his book made me see him in a different way which makes me like him more!

Hes an awsome character and such a funny dude.

He's releasing another autobiography (or has done recently I'm not sure which)

Richard Hammonds book is very good, about 3/4 through it, and it's not really an autobiography so to speak, as Mindy writes a good portion of it, the book mostly surrounds the crash and his recovery in hospital.

Agree with Humble Pie though, I like Ramsey, but have a lot more respect for the guy now I have read that. True rags to riches tale.

I'd quite to read Richard Hammond's book, have to try and get a copy. I've read humble pie and liked it so I might give the new one a go. I'm currently reading Derren Brown's book, very good so far. I usually have a couple of books on the go at the same time and have also just finished Memoirs of a Geisha again and am still re-reading The Divine Comedy.

I really like Gordon Ramsey, he he an excellent chef and his tv shows are always entertaining.

Also 3/4 of the way through Richard Hammond's book. Definitely worth a read and his wife is a surprisingly good writer!

Clarkson does not have an Autobiography, however there is a book called 'Jeremy Clarkson: The Biography' by Gwen Russell.

Otherwise it's best to stick to his own books, which in rough order are:

Clarkson on Cars - early Clarkson stuff from Performance Car magazine and Sunday Times
Born to be Riled - more of the above
Jeremy Clarksons Motorworld - book accompanying series of the same name. Very good.
You Got Soul - him describing various machines.
The World According to Clarkson - columns from The Times
The World According to Clarkson Volume 2 - as above.
Don't Stop Me Now - his columns from The Sunday Times Motoring Section.

All are excellent. There is another one called Dagenham something as well.

I'll have a look for those also, I quite like him on Top Gear.

For you Jodie I would recommend The World According to Clarkson and Volume 2 of the same name, and then You Got Soul. Both are far more general Clarkson on Life whereas the rest are heavily car biased so you'd probably enjoy the others more :)

Thanks :) I'll have a look for those first then. I do actually enjoy the details about the cars on Top Gear so I may like the others too. I really like the Top Gear specials as well where the 3 of them have to get their own car/car boat etc and drive it for miles :p

Another recommendation for Hammond's book, really good read.
I've started reading Born to be Riled as I got it for Christmas and that's very entertaining and enjoyable so no doubt I'll be picking up the others soon enough.

Ooh, I didn't realise Hammond had a book out too, what's it based on? The world according to Clarkson is very funny, had me in stitches reading it in bed :)
