I bought the JetKVM so I could reinstall operating systems on my mini PC over the network and it works really well. You can upload an ISO to its internal storage and then install the OS via a browser interface. If you want a KVM over IP I highly recommend it.

Much cheaper than PiKVM too!

Need to check the ISO support again, didn’t seem available/working last time I used mine

ISO support via internal storage works fine. I used it a couple of days ago. Not tried via URL for direct downloading and it is listed as experimental but I would assume it works.

I think last time I used mine I couldn’t see how to upload the image.

Can it be done through the web console or do you need to add them to it like a USB drive first? I didn’t spend much time looking as I had a ventpy drive to hand!

Yeah you can upload an ISO via the web browser admin panel. Very easy. Same with using a URL to download an ISO. That is done in the browser admin panel as well. The internal storage is 12GB so you can fit a full DVD ISO on it (or more than one).

I realise why I missed it now!

My brain got stuck with "mount a previously uploaded ISO", and as I haven't previously uploaded an ISO was thinking there is some other mechanism I was missing to prepare it for use. Now I pressed Continue I can see how easy it is as you say :D

I've had mine for a while, much better than the NanoKVM from Sipeed which I also have..

I do keep it segregated on a VLAN as I don't quite trust these things!
