Just got back from Keystone Colorado Yesterday and am suffering Killer Jetlag at work today however seeing as I'm the only IT dude round atm I'm in work and not doing so Good :( anybody else know this feeling?

I tend to sleep when I have jetlag, and fortunatly have never been in the position of having to work at the same time as suffering, but you have my sympathy.

I find that if I sleep for the whole plane journey that I get very little jetlag effect... I guess it's a little late for you to do that though! :)

I came back from Taiwan on Friday and had a final on Monday...wasn't feeling too hot :(

Does anyone have any tips for curing jet lag anyway? It always takes me AGES to get back in to my routine. I went to Taiwan for 3 weeks during my winter break and it took me 2 and a half of those weeks to correct my jet lag

Stay awake as long as is possible and then sleep for an absurd amount of time... You need about 8 hours sleep a night, so stay up tonight, and go to bed about 16 hours before you need to get up... instantly back in UK time!!

[avoid too much booze though!]

:D

I don't really suffer bad jetlag - but I tend to sleep on planes without any problem so it's easier to "get in synch" so to speak. However I know some people who really get it bad and it does look and sound really nasty. Hope you get over it soon and it doesn't affect you too much. :)

Being someone who does a lot of long haul flying, I have some advice....

Set your watch to your destination's time as soon as you get on the plane
When its bed time in destination country, take the following:
-1 Nytol
-Some Alcohol (OPTIONAL- I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DIE DOING THIS!!!) It doesn't take much mind... two of those tiny cans or a bottle of miniscule wine they give you should be enough to give you your 8 hours.

Wake up at destination as fresh as a daisy :)

Your missing the point I would do that and prolly take somthing stronger than nytol however I'm at work and so therefore am unable to

Obviously it's a bit late now :p

Colarado's not too bad IMO... was last there back in July (Stayed in Boulder... Lovely place). I found going East (Singapore, KL, et al) to be much worse for some reason....
