That's not Jimmy Carr but Jimmy Carnage;)

Seen both his DVDs as well as guest appearances on shows such as Top Gear and he really is funny.

His quip about the engine of his Rover breaking down whilst on the motorway, not wanting to upset his girlfriend beside him and asking Rover for a new car, not bothering with suing them. Genius.:cool:

As is appearing on the first Top Gear of the current series and saying how wearing jeans and a jacket is for old men, with Jeremy Clarkson slowly realising that is exactly what he is wearing.:D
 
I watched 8 out of 10 cats a couple of times then made the mistake of buying that live DVD of his, turned it off after about 20 minutes, it was cringeworthy.

ahhhh...blissful sanity. i knew i could rely on you. i particularly thought his "bit" that ridiculed steven hawking, only to backfire because Hawking is such an amazing person was the best. purely because it put that smug git where he belongs. down.

one of the few comedians i find actually funny, + i would like to go for a pint with him, seemsa right canny guy, like on the top gear behind the scenes episode he preseneted, he looked like he got on with every1
 
He can't even do deadpan or dry comedy decently - he's always pausing and seeking approval.

bill bailey is the only comedian i know i will find hilarious at the moment.

peter kay is average

ross noble is just student humour, maybe laugh once through a show... i mean i can talk about gypsies for 20mins, and also mention the king of the gypsies... and also make strange noises and flap about.

jimmy carr is just rubbish, no animation, not expression, he is missing member of kraftwerk.
 
I saw him live in Leicester not too long ago. I find him really funny and like his style, but he does recycle some of his material a little.
 
My mate just got back...He LOVED it apparantly...Tho he was in the front row and got a mention apparantly. Personally I can only stomach so much of him, then he hacks me off.
