its absolutely true that until someone is actually convicted in court, then they are innocent until proven otherwise (no matter how unholy and disturbing they might have looked). But you have to ask yourself, i mean look at stuart hall, he bloody confessed! whatever the evidence was they had on him, it must have been pretty cast-iron. Also i think possible legal action in response to defamation or whatever , im sure it was considered before these arrests happened.
There surely can be no doubt just due to hall alone, that bbc really do have a lot to answer for. Very disturbing stuff indeed.

As far as I can remember, Jimmy Tarbuck, worked mostly for ITV, as did William Roache, so it wasn't just the BBC..

For those of you in here(and elsewhere) that were born say late 80/90s and lived in the "new Labour"/Post 9/11 era, count your stars as Britain could be a pretty vile place at times, full of these people, sexists, racism, trade unionists, every ism, I am not saying I am whiter than white by any means, but the 70/80s could be grim, so don't be too judgmental of the world you live in nowadays, it's actually a very good deal, and no I am not an old man just 30's.
Yeah i was going to say the TV industry as a whole, but people may have thought that a tad far fetched.
Then again there were only 3 channels back in those days wasn't there?, BBC1,2 and ITV.
But yeah, i agree, all of this points to some huge weird ring within the TV industry, very creepy.
