How far back do you on your employment history?

I went back 8 years.

Tailor it to the job you're applying for and just use all relevant posts.

I go back to the start of my uhh "proffesional" career.

I no longer include summer jobs I took at uni or the fact that I worked at McDonalds at 6th form...

That takes me back to 1998, and I guess is about right with what Gilly said.

8 years was when I left BK and became an I.T. professional

Sounds like we both go back to the first job we are vaguely embarassed to admit we did.

Thanks, I'm still not certain how far to go because I have some relevent experience from about 5 years ago and then nothing else relelvent till about a year ago.

I think I'll go back those 5 years but gloss over some of the odds and sods. I can still use them as examples for some relevent skills.

Nothing against OcUk you understand people. I'd love to work for them. It's just it's a bit of a long commute from Gloucestershire. Plus the car park would make me feel very inadequate.
