Job application - Best and worst TV program

Best = wonders of the universe by brian cox!

Worst = big brother/dancing on ice/x factor/strictly come dancing. Just take your pick :p

I was thinking this.
Reality TV programs are one of the most successful formats there is and you could be upsetting them.

Top Gear is only like the highest rated programme BBC2 are chosing to broadcast isn't it. Don't know how you would be percieved if you labelled the highest watched BBC2 programme as the worst entertainment programme.

You could name Top Gear as both the best and worst as it has changed a fair bit since it started. Use comparisons of how it has moved from factual to more entertainment and show how the change in presenters has changed the show. Try to show some objectivity though, even if you don't like the current format it is unlikely the old format would have received the same level of popularity with the masses.

This would work both ways unless you somehow liked the old and new TG equally ;)
 
Do the worst show as the best and best show as the worst and show off your ability to show 2 points of view (though you might come across as fake or arrogant...)

Failing that have a copy paste of Brookers rants about 24 hour news, that usually wins
