Job Idea's?

I'm currently in retail, but am looking to join the fire service at the end of the year. Has anybody got any idea''s for a new job in the meantime? I've been on the jobcentre website but nothing seems to take my interest or you need some form of professional qualification. Am I just not open minded enough?

what thing do you want to do?

indoors or out doors.
Physical, paper work, phone working customer related?
Do you just want a job until you join the fire department, or a job you might stay at and make a career out of you don't get in?

Not after a career, that'll be with the brigade. Just something to get me out of retail. I don't really wanna be stuck at a computer or a desk, physical/outdoors is fine though.

warehouses are physical and good pay.

other than that just do a search for manual labour jobs.
