I would personally wear a suit, but not worry about the jacket. It's always best to look smart for an interview, no matter what job it is. If you look good, you feel good, and it shows.

Suits for jobs like this are way over the top, shirt and trousers, tie if you really feel you need to.

What job are you going for?
If its just as a sales assistant I wouldn't bother with a suit. To be honest I'm not sure they would even care how smart you are, just as long as you look clean and presentable and have the ability to talk to customers.
haha oopsAh well its general advice too! Sssooo....how did it go, what did you wear?
Me and few others were in suit too so I didnt feel overdressed felt like I fitted in if anything.
but loads of people attended, probably with better experiance than me so I got a feeling I wont get it.
