Job interview this week

Your interview sounds rather like one I've just gone for although we got told there were approx 200 applicants at this stage and around 70 jobs spread across a variety of Government departments. Do you find out on the 15th of December by any chance? Good luck anyway.

They haven't given us a date yet.

FMDS?

I'm in a rite pickle :(

The interview I had today....they liked me, and offered me a job.

Now, seeing as I am waiting for another place to get back to me, I said 'ok, do you mind if I get back to you in a couple of days?'...No problem.

The real issues now...Is I got another call, from some other agency, saying about a job a bit more local, however a fair few more hours, plus on call rota's etc etc....However I do not know which I would prefer in the long run, or which would be better in the long run...

Ones further away, less money, my own car to get there (Then a company vehicle)...

The other is closer, field based (company car) more money (not everything)...

I just don't know which would be better for me, as I don't want to take one up, then be stuck doing the same job day in day out :p

Well done mate :) Good luck in your new career. You should also consider yourself lucky that in this economic climate, you're gaining a job and not losing one :)

I got an email saying:
"Thank you for attending the assessment centre. We are pleased to confirm that the would like to make you an offer, subject to satisfactory security, health and reference checks."

Came home today to find a message on my answerphone from them saying to call them back. When I just tried there was no one in, I hope it isn't bad news :(
