Got a call this moning.

Job interview tomorrow morning.

Just after losing my job with Teleperformance both by choice and the fact that they couldn't handle my absences.

It's with B&Q which may not sound great but it's down in the trade section and working with the machinery and putting units together etc.

I.E. something to keep my hands and mind buzy as I have a very short attention sp.... hey, a squirrel.

So, yeah, T0 T3H INT3RN3TZ, thanksfortheinfo.jpg and all that jazz. :D

LOLWUT?

Sounds like a good job roll if you like doing something more active; favourite part of my old retail job was bringing in delivery tbh, when I got to do it :) . Won't have so many customers to deal with I doubt, might have to do board cutting (?) but you'd be trained before doing that. Good luck with it!

Yeah, I'll not have to handle customers which I'm happy about.

I'm best at a job when I can just get my head down and do what I'm supposed to do on my own.

There's one issue I have.

The hours are late night. (I'm a nocturnal animal)

I play football 3 times a week at around 8pm.

ATM, the job description states Mon-Fri but would it be worth asking if maybe I could get Wednesday free and do Saturday instead so I could have football once a week?

It's the only social activity I do lately. :p

Wouldn't mind sacrificing it if it means I get a job I'm happy with but would be nice to have both working harmoniously.

Before you loose concentration?

:p

Spot on my man.

When working in the call centre, I would put a customer on hold whilst I call the store.

Store line is engaged so I wait for a min.

Spend about ten minutes just looking round me wondering "It's quietened down a lot" before realising the cust is still on hold. :p

You could ask about flexability of working hours. But i wouldn't say "can i keel wednesdays free because I play football?" Just be careful about how you word things as you don't want them thinking you care more about social things than getting on with your job (even if you actually do! :p)
