Job references without previous employment

I've picked up an application for the local Tesco to be a dot com picker (woo), but I have no previous references and they would like two. I guess this means asking a couple of my old teachers to be my references considering I've now left school?

Why dont you ask one teacher, then a professional friend to do a character reference.

Yeah you will need to give a headteacher or head of year and then perhaps a personal refernce aswell, this person needs to be a professional, such as teacher, nurse etc. etc. but you need to of known them for over like 4 years and not a family member.

aye, normally if you dont have previous employment, they tend to accept a personal referee instead of professional(not including the second ref which would be academic ofc).
