Joe Danger (PSN)

I have had my PS3 for over 2 years now and don't have one person on friends list *sniff* I play Joe Danger too and wouldn't mind comparing a few scores and trying some user made levels.
You guys are welcome to add me if you want too. "Billyboyd" without the quotes.

41 year old bloke just so you know you are not adding some team killing 13 year old muppet.
 
The basic sharing of levels in this does make you realise how well the LBP guys did it, it's a shame there doesn't seem to be a scoreboard for them, it'd be fun to try and beat each others scores in the user levels.
Nice track btw rp, didn't think of using the spikes that way round!

*will think of even more devious/evil tracks*

Will add you later, although i suspect I will be playing LittleBigPlanet today, when the Marvel level pack comes out. You got LBP?

Cheers, I only played your track once or twice before I stopped playing PS3 yesterday. I assume to get all the stars in 1 run I have to backtrack? Also your track looks way more complicated than mine and surely contains more objects?

Once I play a few more levels, it will hopefully give me some better ideas on item placement and creating better jumps. But this is one of those games where you start playing and hours seem to pass buy!

Grrrrrr!!!!! :) I am sure I am going to go back and try to top each scoreboard. I think yourself and mcwildcard seem to have the higher scores on most levels out of my friends list. I shouldn't have wasted time "umming-and-ahhing" about buying this game!!

You can get the stars all in one route, I made sure of that, same with the targets, which is why I did that edit. I don't think you can get all targets and stars in the same route though.
I'm not sure, I know when I finished the track I only had about 5 props left to use, but I did notice that when I used a shark tank at the start of the level it said I could only use 1 more, but once I got to the end of my level it went back up to 2 again.
Maybe the longer the track, the more stuff you can use?
It could just be a clever way of making sure you don't use too much stuff in the same area to slow the game down?
 
Yup got LBP but only have the free downloadable content that has been on the store. Not played much of it either come to think of it.
 
bought it a days after release, both me and my brother really enjoy it! Even managed to get a few scores in the top 5 on the global rankings.

Why PlayStation? Will the game eventually be released on Xbox 360?

We spent a long time searching for a home for Joe Danger, talking to publishers, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. It was actually really difficult, and at times we thought Joe Danger might never get released. Throughout it all Sony was always very supportive and cooperative. When you’re small like we are, that helpful attitude means a lot. It’s what attracts so many indie developers to PSN.

That PSN route was always the best fit for us. We left our previous jobs at bigger developers so we could have the freedom to make the games we wanted. Sony understand that freedom and are happy to give it. For instance, we’re the publisher on Joe Danger, probably the world’s smallest, so we do everything from marketing and testing to getting the game localised. PSN is the only platform that would allow us to do that.

Someone mentioned it in this weeks Playstation update comments, on the PS Blog, and the guy said "Joe Danger is a new game, it is unlikely to be discounted in the near future" or words to that effect.

Having said that, they are hardly going to admit it if it was about to be discounted or given away. I think a couple more months of PSN+ updates are needed before people can figure out whether the freebie games are ever going to be new titles or just "older" ones. Bear in mind the 2 free (PS3/PSN) games announced so far are Wipeout HD (1.5 yrs old) and Zen Pinball (1 yr old).

I suspect a few people with PSN+ are thinking "will xxxx game be free on PSN+ or should I buy it", which might even be affecting sales?

I just bought Joe Danger this morning and I really like it. I've made my own level which was really easy to do. I'd love to share it with people so if you add me on PSN I will send it to you. (you can only send levels to friends apparently. My PSN is jojothemonkey69. I'd be happy to try a level if people on OCUK have made one.
 
FOR THE LOVE OF (insert extremely harsh expletive here)

I'm on the 2nd to last level, and have been for the past 4 days, tryng to do the coin challenge and it is completely beyond me. I swear I have pressed select to restart over 300 times in that time period and that's not an exaggeration for comic effect :(

Has anyone here actually got 100% on this game because I'll be chuffed if I'm giving up on 96% :(:(:(:(:(

At least 100 or 150 tries from me so far ... *tries not to burst in to tears* :(
