Joe Rogan and Spotify

Kennedy isn't an expert in vaccines, he's an expert in conspiracy theories. Why would an expert sit down with someone dishonest and with no expertise in the subject?

And stop putting words in my mouth "shutting down". Either argue with some honestly or don't bother. I said "push back", as in question what they are saying. See the difference?

Can you define what you mean exactly when you say push back? Because it feels yo me like you're changing the meaning somewhat to suit your needs.

That's not an explanation, why was no group of humans with a mental capacity no different to you or I, able to achieve anything more than hunting and gathering for 100,000 years give or take? no basic maths, no understanding it seems of nature and the world around them, no philosophy or group think or exchange of ideas that would constitute civilisation however basic it seems no desire to learn anything of consequence or for discovery.

And again what were the factors that changed that 5000 odd years ago ?

The date for “civilization” keeps getting pushed further and further back. In Çatalhöyük, Turkey there are the ruins of a town that are 9,000 years old.

And I think you’re looking at this from the wrong angle. There was a marked decline in human health when people turned from a hunter-gatherer lifestyle to a sedentary agricultural lifecycle. So what crisis forced people to abandon a lifestyle that was superior?

I would also disagree that early humans didn’t have a desire for learning and discovery. That did very well to adapt to life all over the planet - from the frozen tundra to the desert.

Trust me, I understand you loud and clear

Yes I watched it because I was posting it here. My point was I wouldn't see an interview with him on YT and think "oh this might be interesting" because I know he's dishonest. In the same way if I saw someone claiming they saw aliens I would know they are either lying or nuts.

I love how you claim to "know" someone is being dishonest or not or that someone is either lying or is crazy if they say they've seen aliens. The fact is, none of us can say with 100% factual certainty that these claims are either true or false. We can look at whatever "evidence" there is, listen to interpretation of that evidence and form an opinion.

I'm just going to hazard a guess here and suggest you don't believe there's any other intelligent life in the entire universe. And you're entitled to that opinion but until the human race has detailed surveys of every single planet in the entire universe you cannot say with 100% certainty that it doesn't.

I've explained it several times. He makes extortionary claims, I think the person doing the interview should challenge him on those claims. Its not like Joe won't push back if he disagrees with someone or thinks they are lying. There is no shortage of material Joe or his team could look at before the interview.

You're best keeping away from Joe Rogan because you aren't a fan and it seems to get you all hot and bothered.

I would be surprised if there isn't or wasn't at some point intelligent life in the Universe. Thing is its a big place. What I find almost impossible to believe is that these aliens have solved the many many problems to reach us like the ability to travel near or past the speed of light, the energy requirements to travel at those speeds, the radiation problems with travelling at those speeds and then either crash when they arrive here or allow themselves to be seen when they are trying not to be seen, which I would presume they are doing as they've not announced themselves. So yes if someone says they saw aliens I would assume they were lying, nuts or I will add mistaken, though the fact they went with aliens as an explanation says a lot.

If someone said to you they saw Jesus or Zeus or Shiva would you think, oh maybe they did lets listen to their evidence?

If you goto the Emirates stadium you'll see Jesus, he's not as great as people seem to think!

Or as old.

And looks nothing like the pictures!

   You guys seem properly triggered by this. Maybe you all need to step away from the internet for a while. Its GD on an anonymous forum, 90% of the threads are people disagreeing about stuff.

You post so frequently on topics about people you dislike though, why bother? You're the top contributor in this thread and the Elon Musk thread, yet you dislike both of those people. So essentially you frequently spend time posting negative things about people you dislike, why not start a thread about someone you like?

So you think he should push back because you don't agree with him, right. Understood. Here's the thing I'd reasonably assume he'd do exactly what you suggest if he had any suspicion it was nonsense or if he was being lied to. The fact is what Hancock says is possible.

Once again, can you with absolute factual certainty prove that someone didn't see a deity or spirit or something along those lines? Absolutely not. Again, I'm not saying they did just that it can never be proven one way or another to 100%. Let's take something like DMT for example, how would you explain the fact that people all tend to see the same things when they're tripping? Shared delusion? Corrupted by word of mouth? What about those who have no prior knowledge at all of what the experience may be like, who report seeing the same things? Is it just a hallucination at that point or some sort of drug induced spiritual experience?

As for the alien question, again you cannot say for certain that it's not possible. If an intelligent civilisation out there at the other end of the universe is 1000 years more advanced than us, what would that look like? What about a million or a billion years more look like to us? We literally cannot say because we have no understanding of such things from that viewpoint.

There are plenty of unexplained things, what about that UFO tic tac footage for example? Advanced prototype? Hologram? Digital hallucination? Until we know for certain what it is it could also be alien.
