Joey

In all fairness, if you didn't like Friends, you're not going to like Joey!

For me, it's the sheer stupidity Matt LeBlanc brings to the character.

"I remember when I first went to a bar"
"How old were you? Eighteen?"
"Close. Eleven."

LOL :D

Tried to get into it but gave up after a few episodes. I've been told it got better but I'm not sure I'll bother.

I don't know what it was I didn't like about it.. the sister annoyed me, so did her son come to think of it. I think the problem is that Joey played off so well against Chandler and Ross that I can't get used to seeing him without them. Bit shallow of me but there we are.

Fraiser was great! Joey was good for the first few episodes but then i just lost intrest in it completely.

I have season 1 on dvd, like £15 from HMV over Christmas. Saw it all and it's more miss than hit, some funny moments but also some very forced comedy.

Joey was cancelled over the christmas period - it only made it half way through the second season.

I also read an article on ABCs website about how the rumours about the Friends special and the new spin-off show ("A Guy Thing") were absolutely NOT true and that none of the cast had been approached.

I'm probably one of the only people who didn't see any reason to watch Friends, I didn't find it that funny at all, and Joey was just complete crap even compared to the mediocre Friends.

Give me Peep Show any day.

Actually it was put on a hiatus for the Winter olympics*, It returns to US screens Next week :)

I've enjoyed it. It's a shame 5 isn't going to air the 2nd season.

*: it may not have been done because of the Winter Olympics.. I just remember reading that it would be back AFTER the Winter Olympics.

"Returns Tuesday March 7th. New Night, New Episodes."

I heard it was going to be axed as well, but seems it hasn't.

a crap, I see. I definitely did read a report on digitalspy that Joey had been axed. Guess I was misinformed!

To be honest I do enjoy watching Joey if im in the right mood - very easy going "comedy," no having to pay attention (unlike Arrested Development, by far the best comedy TV show ever produced).

I did originally hear that the rest of season 2 was not going to air, but it now seems that it will. Looks very unlikely that there will be a third season though. Andrea Anders has moved to some show on CBS.
