Anyone heard of these?? http://johnsphones.org/

Our IT Guru at work has just bought a couple, yes a couple! one White, one Black!, He said he was lucky the seller (he got it from Hong Kong on the Bay) didn't send the Pink one!

I think it's excellent!! They do sell them on the South American River place for £120, but they are available on The Bay for £50 (plus a £5iver shipping)...

No SMS, No Camera, No Web, No Apps!! just a Phone with 10 Speed Dial numbers and a 'Phone Book' that really IS a Book and Pencil..

I'm really interested!! :cool:

I'm getting a bit peed off with all the Wars about "Who's got the most Apps', "Who has the bestest Screen", "Who invented what" and "Who has the biggest Fanboy following"...

anyone else Joining me in the 80's!?

Why would anyone buy one.
If you want simple and long battery life, get a £10 Nokia, which at least has a screen and an internal phone book.

Surly this is a joke. If not fair play to him. Get people to pay 50-120 for a 10p device.

Er I can see the appeal of just wanting a basic phone however this thing is ugly as sin, looks like it wouldn't cost more then £5 to produce... as others have said just get a cheap nokia...

So if you get this phone you would need to carry around another phone just to send SMS.

I would rather get an Ericsson T28 if I wanted to go old skool.

like the phone very much but not so much the price. do a fair bit of camping / hiking / cycling and would consider one as a backup phone if it cost about half as much ^^

Total rip off for what it is, paying through the nose for a piece of cheap plastic that cost probably 20p to make in some factory in china, heck it has a even better mark up than the iPhone.
You would be better off getting a cheap nokia or samsung for £10-20.
