Johnson upanddown diet.

The best diet to try isn't a diet. It's an all round life style change including more exercise and healthier eating combined with education about food in general.

Which I'm doing at the moment. But I seem to have hit a dead end, I still want to lose more weight.

I'm pretty much limited myself to no fats/sats during the week, being very strict and relaxing a bit more on the weekend. I play football five times a week so get plenty of exercise.

I'm not losing anything now though and am still overweight.

I thought this diet could start something up again possibly.

You're not losing because no fats/sats is simply a bad quality diet, your body REQUIRES fats and protein, give your body none of either and your body won't work that well.

Well it has worked, I've lost over 1 and a half stone :D I still want to lose another stone though.

A balanced diet of fresh produce is always going to beat a diet where you simply cut out a whole food group.

Couldn't agree more. I lost over 4 stone eating a healthy balanced diet and doing no more than a bit of walking (well, a lot actually :p). I've never seen the point in these fad diets - they may well work in the short term but, at some point, you have to start eating a normal diet again.

If you want to shift weight quickly addressing the ratio of carbs your intaking might be a good idea. And when exactly and what kind you are eating.
Low/no carb diets put the body into ketosis. Which basically leaves your body resorting for energy from other sources. Google it as I'm not 100% clued up.

However, I echo all of the advice above too. Give H.I.I.T a go if you aren't already too.

If you're goal is fat loss, integrate more essential fatty acids into your diet, eat foods containing low calories but high in fibre and protein to keep you fuller for longer. Drink green tea alongside a healthy diet for it's antioxidants, and it's ability to aid in fat loss and also eat complex carbohydrates for sustained energy.

Exercise is simple, use supersets and do interval training for cardiovascular exercise.
