How many soldiers are required to do a proper invasion? Is war more profitable than internal development?

I should be able to go to war tomorrow, so I will probably spend £1000 on soldiers to deploy. good idea?

I've only been attacking with about 20-30 more troops than the person i'm attacking.

Too many Troops will make your people ahte you and send you bankrupt so dont get too many :eek:

Yeah, but most of them will be dead by the time it gets to collecting taxes

(umm the soldiers not the civilians)

Yay I found a guy with about $8k in money and I attacked him. He wasn't in an alliance or that well defended.

So I got about $1k in total from two attacks. I'll post his address tomorrow prob when he's out of my attack range.

I lost 4 happiness by changing my Defcon Rating from 5 to 1. Thats going to stuff up my income tomorrow. :mad:

The cost of that mistake was $800

I now have to decide whether to put my defcon back to 5 tomorrow before collecting tax and putting out my full army at a lower readiness state. Or leaving it as it is and putting out an army 1/10th the size I planned to put out.
