Joining .avi Files Problem.......

Im trying to join 2 avi files together using nandub but im getting a problem.

"cannot append segment: the audio streams have different data formats"

Does anyone know how i can get around this?

Its the same film which is in two parts and im trying to join it together...

use gspot to verify if the sound formats are different if so open them in vdub / nandub export the audio to wav

reopen your video files, disabling the original sound stream and using the wav you have created for each video resave to a new file

open and append the newly created video files into one

alternative may be to use avsynth to frameserve

re encode them both to the same format video/sound after that you can also join them using super.
