To all the parents / couples

Would you be equally happy with a joint present rather than receiving one each?

I am thinking about getting my mum and dad a half decent (£150 - £200) digital camera for christmas.

Normally I spend somewhere in the region of £60 each on them but dont mind spending more on something they will use for a few years

I doubt your parents would hold a grudge against you for not buying them a present each.

See no issue here, but would be pretty mad if somebody bought me and my brother a shared gift seeing as we have nothing in common.

joint pressies tend to be better anyway ;)

But yeah, if living together you literally share everything anyway!

I've recently lost my Super Mario lounge pants to the missus :(

Well I was debating getting them a welsh dresser commissioned by a local carpenter, but my dad genuinely would not care although he would claim to, my mum would however love it.

So I don't know, it depends I guess. A holiday between a couple? Ok, but a lot of things don't work.
