She was 18 when they married, he was 28, according to Wikipedia. Not sure how he could have used her fame to help him?

He hasnt been famous since the day they were married, JR hasnt been around for 20 years. She worked for her place as a writer and he was introduced to fame through her and probably his brothers. I dont dislike him for this, I just feel that his personality isnt enough for TV without having ideas pitched and pushed to the BBC by his wife.
 
I think the Coke thing depends on where it is bottled. When I was in Cyprus, I could not drink the coke there, it tasted odd. But there are a lot of minerals in the water there. I found I could only drink Fanta orange while there. Perhaps the Multipack cans are made elsewhere, somewhere cheaper perhaps, to keep the cost down.

According to that he made his breakthrough in January 1987. So whilst he may not have been "famous" he seemed to have been on his way before they married.
 
I don't like Ross much. Its the bottom sucking he does, it makes me cringe. Every single week, the same old lines about loving their work and how film X is one of his favourites of all time etc etc.

Sucking the hell out of people who he doesn't like and are making pants films.

Like when he had Kate Bosworth on, he licked her clean then the very next week slagged her off for being crap and dull.

He was in the industry as early as 1983. There's no way of telling what impact she had :)

I vaugely remember him from the early days of Ch4. He did nto seem as bad then. Then they did this mockumentry about him and saying he was the fifth Beetle etc, total rubbish it was. Not sure when the hate set in, perhaps around the time he started his talk show. He ruined an episode of QI once, bet he is never asked back.
 
Oh fair enough, shes helped though for sure.

Oddly enough, I dont mind his brothers at all.
