JPR: NVIDIA and AMD both see strong GPU shipments this quarter

Also, shipments doesnt mean units sold. Nvidia coule have shipped 50% more but when they get to the stores no-ones buying. Unless it means if thewy have shipped they have already sold so its up to the re/e-tailer to make their money ?

Yeah the retailers should have a min/max stock limit so once they start running out of stock it is reordered from the graphics companies, who make their money straight away. I'm sure places like ocuk get a discount buying in bulk but the margins are small on each sale.
 
We all need to gang up on the Console peasants and give them some what for on their platform and win them over to PC and then it would be more revenue for both. Yer yer, AMD have the consoles but I bet they make more from discrete than consoles. :p

Yup, we don't need to suffer just because of consoles. They can have whatever they want. Bring some power here as well. Personally , i don't wanna see poor console ports on PC just because it is limited by HW as we can see now.
 
People buying less new PCs but add on GPUs doing better than before - makes sense since Skylake was totally disappointing to say the least.

We're all enthusiasts, no need to compete with with one another about companies that don't care less about what you say about them.
 
People are free to game on what they want, consoles included. Calling them peasants and acting all elitist about PC gaming is only going to deter console gamers from going PC.
