Hi. Its been a while since I connected up a motherboard. I have the long plug with seperate smaller 4 pin plug plugged into jpwr1. There is also a jpwr2 that has a 4 pin connector. Do I need to connect this up to the psu as well?

Thanks for any help.
 
Jpwr2 is for the CPU - it should be an 8 pin connector? You'll need that hooked up along with the Jpwr1 you described or your PC won't boot.

This. Just that on some motherboards, typically non-overclocking boards (although there may be exceptions), it is a 4 pin not 8 pin. Some boards even have 8+4 or 8+8 pin.
