Jquery

Hi Guys,

Just wondered if you can point me in the right direction here.

I've been asked to learn jquery, and have no idea where to start with it as the brief is to implement it into a website in any form I choose.

My programming knowledge, is, well, poor. XHTML, CSS and a little bit of PHP is probably the extent of it. So, where do I start?

To get some of the basic effects it's not to hard really, once you get the basic syntax down (it's similar to PHP) it's quite intuitive to use. There was a totally amazing site called 15 days of JQuery - started with the absolute basics at day 1 and worked itsd way up to more involved stuff - I'll try to find the link as I cant find it right

What type of things do you want to do using it?

i find going to the jquery hompegae and then pressing, up up down down left right left right b a, helps a lot
