jumpers for trees and why eccentricity is a good thing

Its not daft as it sounds, I have seen this elsewhere to protect palm trees from the cold.

Also similarly a bus stop near me was painted in loads of little flowers. Then the Council came and painted it grey again . It looked pretty decent actually, probably took the person days to do it.

I heard about this the other day and dismissed it as a load of tosh - Basically some bloke telling me about a new "craze" called knit bombing, or yarn bombing... Walked away and forgot about it until this thread.

A quick google suggests that poeple actually do spend time doing this
