do you need to use jumpers on SATA hard drives or am i right in thinking that SATA does not use jumpers on hard discs? just having some troubles with my drive and wanna work out what's what
The only thing you need to use a jumper for is some drives can be down-speeded (word?) from SATA-300 to SATA-150 to help with compatibility issues on older boards. Theres isnt a master/slave like ide.
