I'm from Doncaster and theres quite a few different shops like cash converters/cash generators and general shops selling old hifis, tvs and stereos.

In Leeds there only seems to be CEX which doesnt have electronics and shops selling mobiles and dvds but no electronic equiment. I'm looking for a second hand amplifier and would like to know where some shops are, there must be some somewhere, maybe a bit out from the centre

Thanks

There were loads of them in leeds before, hmm one in Wakefield called super buy next to where they are building the new shopping place at the top of the springs.

Yep, i know arcadia and have just been in there. They dont have any amps any more. I also found another. Big Deal, just down from Primark on the opposite side

If all else fails come to York (it's only another half hour up the road), we've got Bulmer's, the one I can't remember the name of, on the Blossom Street/Nunnery Lane junction, the British Heart Foundation home & electronics shop and Banana warehouse (all within 10 minutes' walk)

Thanks sharn. I have found and paid for a NAD C352 amp with warrenty through AVforums.

I went into big deal this lunch time and got a Bose Wave Radio/CD for £150. Only thing missing was the remote which can be had for £20 but not necessary. I'll either be letting my aunty buy it for £150 or ebaying it for £200. Win win situation

Big deal has got some quite good stuff actually
