Turn your brights off when a motorbike is coming the other way at night.

SO many cars just don't bother turning them off so I can see absolutely nothing which is particularly fun round a bend.

Oh and you with the particularly bright white LED or whatever they are headlights, just turn those off completely when bikes come past. Thanks

I saw a biker knock the wing mirror off a range rover the other day whilst filtering through traffic.

I blame you entirely for that incident.

I'll turn my brights off if you stop undertaking me in slow moving traffic on the motorway (read: On the M1 where there's a temp 50 limit up near Sheffield and lots of traffic)

*I actually hardly ever use my high beam tbh.

It has to be said, there's a lot of motorcycle riders around here who use full beam all the time. I understand the need for you to be visible, but it kind of defeats the object when you dazzle other drivers.

Generally though, bikers are no problem compared to a lot of the cretins in Kent.

I'm going to suggest "No" as a response to that.

Unless you suggest everyone with HIDs should turn their lights off and drive blind whenever a biker appears?

I'm a strict left lane driver unless i'm overtaking actually

I detest middle lane hoggers and make a point of overtaking them and moving to the left lane. I'd undertake them but that would make me as bad as you. The only reason i'm in the middle / right lane on the M1 between Sheffield and Derby (J28) is because the left lane is usually choc full of lorries doing 45mph.

I'd like to say I've hardly ever been full beamed. And a quick flash will generally remind the odd one who doesn't remember.

What bike are you? Maybe they think you're a pedal cycle. Or maybe your beam/s are all messed up and upsetting people.

P.s. I blame mrk for the bmw driver who tailgated me with dodgy milky looking lights. Please stop this from happening again mrk.

Suzuki Bandit 650 at the moment. Happens on my Hornet and other bikes as well. :rolleyes:

Could be. It's rare for people to dip for cyclists.

(they soon get the message when you flash full beam of the bike lights at them though - they are a lot brighter than car headlights)

It's silly posts like this that gives other bikers a bad name. We all get dazzled by idiots irrespective of whether we drive a car, bike, lorry or whatever.
