Ok so where do I start, I’ve had some Raptor hard drive problems this last week or two and I have lost all my backup data on my 300GB backup drive for the third time and it’s annoying. So while I’m waiting for a RMA on the Raptor I’m using my 300GB backup drive for OS and that’s all. My idea is when I get my new 74GB Raptor drive back to then sell my backup drive and with the money buy an external hard drive so ill use the raptor for OS, games ect but the external for my images and movies ect.
What im worried about is how long does it take for a external hard drive to wake up when I want one of my files, does it take a few seconds to book up or will it be exactly like my 300GB backup?
