Just a quick memory + Conroe question

Ok, I have an E6700. My memory is DDR2 5300 (667Mhz)

Read something somewhere about 533Mhz is all that's needed to run in sync or something. Should I run this memory slower so it's 1:1 instead of 4:5 ?

(Don't want to overclock at all, just happy with a perfectly running system )

Most likely, leaving it at 1:1 is the best idea. Some boards do OK running a 4:5 but some suffer stability issues. I did some testing of 1:1 vs 4:5 with all other settings equal. The 4:5 was in some cases 1-2% faster but, you'll likely never notice this is most real world usage.
