just a quick questiong

Im on with building my new system and the mobo came with 2 sata cables i know 1 is for the hdd but can i use the other for the dvd drive? there tagged as 6gb/s my dvd drive is just a genering £15 thing from overclockers

Reset the CMOS first, something I always do.

Double check all connections are in place including the 4 or 8 pin for cpu power and all connections for the gpu if you not using onboard.

And check the memory slots against the manual as some are picky in what slots to be used.

luckily i only have 2 slots lol for ram, but 1 other thing where do the fans on my case plug into i dont think theirs any spots on the motherboard

You have 3 fan headers on the motherboard.

2 are 4 pin and one 3 pin. (3 pin fan can still go into the 4 pin header)

You be ok to connect to the motherboard, one will be used up for the cpu fan.

It will, but you might need to adjust the options on the BIOS for that header (assuming there is options to adjust.)
