I am right in saying that it is exacly the same cooler, plus lights?

You are. The only difference is that it comes with an LED fan. You could swap out the LED fan and nobody would know the difference.

To be honest nobody would tell anyway.......its a pretty weak LED and the case hides even the weakness......its like buying neons for your nova, and then realising there power saving low light neons

haha nice analogies. Good to know my sickly glowing cooler wont be seen.

So what kind of overclock do people expect I could get with that set up. I know if varies, but I would be very happy with a 3.6ghz overclock. From what Ive read that seems very possible, but would there be any head room to push it any further?

Theres a thread about q6600 overclock results in the CPU(or was it overclocking?) section. I believe 3.6 is quite common on good air, wouldnt be suprised if you managed it at all.
Further tends to be the realm of watercooling /more extreme cooling.......but who knows.
