So yesterday I was working in the kitchen of the pub I work and started to feel really ill. Was supposed to be working today, but had to go to the doctors first, apparently I have bacterial gastroenteritis! (pooing lots with a fever).

Anyway I was looking forward to my next week of work as I was finally doing a decent amount of hours, 50ish, and was looking forward to my paycheck, little bit upset about having to now spend the week off of work. I also rather concerned because apparently what I had is spread by hands and touching, and I just went and cooked 100 or so meals last night... I am very vigilant with washing my hands but I think I may have potentially infected a lot of people including the staff who were working!

Anyway yeah, now got a week off of work, and dont know how to fill my time! Lots of OCUK time I guess :o

Hopefully you didn't infect anyone else,

Are you being paid to be off work ?? ( They do where i work )
 
Just think of it as a good deed. You'll be strengthening everyones immune system, how could they hold that against you?! :p
 
In bed with a laptop, browsing nothing but porn.

Should you get bored of that, invite a bit of fluff over for a stuffing.

Ahh brilliant idea! That would certainly keep me busy! My stomach crampings arent as bad when I am sitting down so being at a computer is probably a good idea! I work at a wetherspoons so if I have made anyone ill its probably no different from just drinking the beer there!
 
Yeah that was what I thought, just this time it may be seriously ill... Kinda the same kind of ill you are after drinking the beer while eating your meal :D

So as of tomorrow I start my novel, yay exciting! Today I am going to just rest and chill!

Feel really sorry for my manager, he as a favour gave me like 50 hours this week and I had to go tell him I couldnt work anything. He was very concerned about me though, but then realised he had to arrange all the hours at the pub! Poor him! Mind you on the other hand he wouldnt let me go home early last night! :o
 
What's even funnier is that before you go back to work you will probably have to give a stool sample to be tested to clear you for food handling. The little tub is comical that they give you as when you undo the lid it has a little plastic spoon attached to the underside. :D For the poopa scooping odviously.
Anyways don't worry dude what's a hundred people between tyrants i mean cooks. :p

Get well soon and enjoy your holiday. Bit hard with ring sting though a. :D
