Just Booked my theory test

I failed :(

I got 41 out of 50 and to pass I needed 43

I got 60 out of 75 in the hazard perception test when all that was needed was 44

TBH I was hungover not in the mood and the test took me 12 minutes

Got a question wrong about a toucan crossing wtf and loading :(

The HPT is BS too I reckon you could pass that just by clicking every few seconds :p

Shame mate, well dust yaself down and book it and re-take it... but maybe just pick up the highway code online from the government and spend 30 minutes flicking through, there is stuff in there that I defy anyone on here to recognise or know... none of us know everything, was surprised with a few bits and bobs I picked up just flicking quickly through.

So, I assume you have to do the HPT again then as part of the overall theory... pity, but yeah it is easy unless you're a retard... it's common sense where'as the highway code stuff, is you know it or you don't know it... so, have a read and good luck mate.

I have just come back from a speed awareness course instead of getting points on my car licences and one of the coppers was a motorbike instructor.

I asked him about the orange light sign and what it signifies that I got in my test and guess what? He couldn't tell me :(

He had a look in the highway code and it wasn't in there...He said not all signs and lights were in the code book...I said then wtf was it doing in my theory test...

If anyone would care to tell me what the single orange light sign is then feel free.

For some reason, the theory test people love their crossings. After going through the DVD of practice tests, it was clear that they were something I needed to know so I read up on them. I've long since forgotten most of it.

Thats the point...Its not documented

It's well documented and well known that everyone should study for the test whether you drive or not.

If you studied you would have passed, simple. If you did study and still only got 41, welllll...

Whats the single orange light mean that was in my test then?

Its not in the highway code:rolleyes:

What was the full question and the options ?

Off the top of my head the first single orange light I think of is the ones on top of traffic cones at roadworks.

I just sat my bike theory test on Saturday and used the all tests dvd mentioned a few posts up and all the questions I got were on it.

There was a photo of a single orange light on a pole (never seen it before in my life) Bike police instructor didn't either

If you come across this signal what is up ahead?

Now granted I got a few questions wrong but this Q is verging on being BS

I ploughed through the test in 12 mins and granted got a toucan crossing wrong but I only needed 2 more right to pass.

This question is bugging the hell of of me that is all

This theory test is now an indirect tax its BS....I have a good mind to write to the Department of transport and the DVLA asking why such a question even exists....

Now will someone tell me what the sign in the bike test means please? Thanks

THE HPT is so flawed I would argue that if anyone clicked at at 2-3 sec interevals with a blind fold on they would pass it.

I got 60 out of 75 ffs

I think you just need to stop being angry/frustrated about the fail & just do it again, Even if you do get a question you don't know you should still answer enough questions correctly to get a pass. I got lucky with a pass on 43 the minimum you can pass on so you have a fair bit of room for wrong answers.
Good luck anyway & don't let it put you off. :)

Do you mean this?

It's a school crossing/patrol ahead light.

Huh? Why wouldn't it exist? It's a sign/light you may come across when on the road. Or did you mean something else?
