Just bought a new 1080ti and 7700k on a Z270.

Moving up from a GTX980, 2600k and truth be told, my interest in gaming has started to dwindle.. Just don't have as much free time on my hands these days. Looking to get back into things. My kids (10 & 12) are old enough now to have gaming rigs and especially the 12yr old, he seems very happily whip up my old hardware and upgrade his machine. So mutiplayer works well. I personally love eye candy & arcade games are my favorite i'd say. Just am old skool i guess !

What are the best looking games out on the PC at the moment ?

I have GTA V which i know is old, but with the 1080ti i hope to crank everything up to the max !!

I also have an oculus rift, so VR can be included in this list.

Thanks

For VR, star trek bridge crew is amazing fun.

For eye candy, if you haven't already, get the witcher 3 (an amazing game). A 1080Ti is actually a requirement to run it maxed out in the cities

Can run modded gta with a ti :) easily.

You are doing this wrong. You don't buy games for your GPU you buy a GPU for your games :)

Yep agreed, but i'm more of a hardware enthusiast than a gamer these days... Its what happens when you get old & grey start a family and let the kids take the play games for as long as you let them 'baton' from you that you dearly held onto during all your yrs of growing up.

However I won't let that stop me from an old hobby of upgrading my machine to the latest and greatest every so many yrs.

After all the initial wows oohs and ahhhs, i'll go back to playing the occasional mame arcade classic or pinball, whenever i have a spare 15min for gaming.

Best looking PC games are still:

Assassin's Creed Unity
Witcher 3
Battlefront / Battlefield 1
Kingdom Come Deliverance (so far only in techbeta)
Forza Horizon 3

I'm jesting :p
I'm in the same boat tbh, now I can afford the latest and greatest I don't have the bloody time!
When I did have the time, I was playing on a piece of crap! Celeron D and a fx5200 that was painful.

Resident Evil 7 looks disgusting at maximum settings and it's not a bad game at all :)

I think the PC version may support VR too but I am not sure of that.
