It's an ICM colour profile, not a driver. The idea behind them is that what you see on the screen/send for printing/import from a digital camera has the same colour representations.

Could you take a picture of the product information label?

Also you should be able to tell if it is the HC ('high color') version from the image it produces if you disable any colour management (the ICC profile). Do you have another (standard gamut) monitor you can plug in alongside it? The colours (reds and greens in particular) should be noticeably more saturated if it is the HC version due to the extended gamut. You shouldn't really need a side-by-side comparison to notice but I am assuming this will be different in many ways to what you were using previously. If you have Firefox installed take a look at the fox on the icon. Under sRGB (standard gamut) on a good monitor it will appear a fairly deep orange at the head and on its back and a kind of lighter orange on the innner side with what is pretty much yellow at the tail. Under an unrestricted wide colour gamut it will appear quite red or very deep orange for the most part with an orange-yellow tail.

You should stick to 1 thread. This like the 4 thread i seen reguarding your 3007wfp.

On the back of my old dell it said it was a 3007wfphc rev 02. If it doesnt doesnt say hc on the back then its not the HC. Also you said the seller told you yours was 2008 3007wfp model which i wasnt convinced. As my HC rev 02 was a 2008 model. And the HC version was released before 2008 i beleave

this is my problem/on the back there is a silver strip which says model-dell3007wfp/then under it says product- dell 3007wfp-hc this is why it has me confused

Ah you mean this

.

Thats from a dell 3007wfp-hc so i guess you have a HC version. Would make sence if yours was brought new in 2008.

But im pretty sure on the serial label i saw 3007WFPHC on mine and there with be a 2nd sticker with the rev version. A02 etc
This what i used on mine

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/usgen1/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats?DriverId=R222148

To be honest it would be best to contact dell with the serial number. They can tell you which model it is as manufacturers log all them details to check if its still covered by warranty etc
