Well after the farce i had with Dell and the XPS L702X that i bought and returned earlier in the year, i've finally settled on and purchased a new one.
I'm in the RAF and require a laptop that i can take away with me and for when i'm away from unit visiting family so after deliberating for a few months i made my decision.
I've gone for a Vortex II 17.3" from a competitor which is basically a Clevo P170HM. I've paid £1280 for it which is a bit more expensive than the XPS but i think in the long run it will be worth it.
