Just Bought A PS3

Welcome to the PlayStation Network ;).

The updater in GT5 is garbage at the moment. Just persist with it, even if it fails 20 times. The guage is about as accurate as... well it's just not.
 
Got a PS3 as well today, given up trying to get the update though! Have to say Ive been impressed by how easy it is to sream divx stuff from the pc via media player though :) .

Only thing im annoyed about is the composite cable supplied with it, may as well have given me an RF cable...
 
I suppose their logic is that everyone has a TV capable of a composite/SCART connection - from a business viewpoint why shell out extra money and give away component or HDMI if some of your customers won't use them? I daresay it won't affect their purchase of the console. "Oh, look. I'm not buying this game console as it hasn't got a HDMI cable with it."

Should have done what Microsoft did with their Premium console.
 
Yeah but that could cost Sony say £2 to do a hybrid cable. Look at the profit lost. £2 x 10mil consoles = £20 million gone for nothing so to speak.
