If you're into MAME & arcade games, go for it.
£50 is a bargain, they usually go for a lot more.

but if the response time is crappy then theres no point, i might aswell stick with either a keyboard or my 2 ps2 controllers

I picked up the exact same one for 40 notes in TK Max of all places! couldn't believe my luck when I saw this babyso cheap!

is the response time good or not? if its not then theres no point me wasting wither 40 or 50 quid

Damn it man get that thing finished, you owe it to yourself ;)

Its second only to Kinevals neon mame IMO

Work are getting rid of some older P4 boxes shortly which may well find they way into the back of my car to be reborn a as mame box, even got clearance from the other half :D :D :D

Sorry for the bump but...
...a quick question to GSX:
Can I ask how you went about getting that control panel top sorted? I have been having a dig around as I am just about to embark on a cabinet build myself (pc sorted, monitor, wiring, buttons, sticks, minipac all on their way :) ) and see plenty of places in the USA to source Lexan and get the printing done, just not really sure where to get those bits done over here.
Any help would be appreciated.
