Just Cause Demo on Live

Only played it for about 5-10 mins but it seems really good actually. I was gonna give this a miss but I might have to buy it now.

It looks absolutley stunning aswell.

Edit, its quality driving off a cliff and deploying your pararchute aswell. :p

Ive just completed the just cause demo..

It was quite entertaining.. some interesting features.. little learning curve of what your actually doing.. i did feel like it was helping me a lot though.. you automatically lock on to stuff etc..

The graphics are really quite nice, especially the water was impressive, although in the helicopter there is some slowdown but its not jerky stutter.

Overall, not a bad demo, worth a go with.. i probably missed some ins and outs as i just blasted through the objectives.. but jumping onto other peoples cars etc is quite fun and when i parachuted out of my just about to explode helicopter and onto my boat i did feel like James Bond.. but it lacked the music..

I can't beleive the amount of peeps on the xbox.com forums slating this game. I've seen someone state it has poor visuals! They blind or something, this demo has some of the best and smoothest visuals I've seen for a while. Others seem to want some ultra realistic game whinge about the hopping from rooftop to rooftop feature, clearly forgetting that its not meant to be realistic.

The only thing I'm not too pleased about is the auto aim/locking. Either way I just pre-ordered this bugger over Saints Row.

Pretty good.
Reminded me a lot of Syphon Filter on the PS.

Not sure if it will be going on the list to buy though, as mentioned there are plenty games out in the next month or so to compete

Cancelled my order for Saints Row, and going to pre-order this.
Loved the demo, thought the graphics were very sharp.

Very impressed. Looking forward to the full game.

Looked and played liked the remnants of an old PC sim to be perfectly honest.

What's with the ugly shadows cast by the trees everywhere making it impossible to see the road in places, and the stupid physics sending cars sideways at you.

I thought after a game like COD2 others would aspire to be like it, unfortunately not.

I read on the xbox.com forums and everyone is of course entitled to there opinion but your on the money there because 9/10 times on that forum all i ever seem to read is all negative posts about recent demos/games etc and people flaming each other etc but then i dont think its nowhere near as well moderated as this forum hence why i would tend to rather post on here rather than on the xbox.com forums.

I thought it looked great on my sammy 32"hdtv and with this and tdu looking good i think it looks like we may start to see some of the really good games coming out on the 360 apart from one or two exceptions back in march and at launch that were very good aswell. :)

i don't like the rush feeling, you got to do this in X time to get to bad guy, also i cannot get used to the controls because your rushing about all the time. and by the time i want to press a action the car, ect, ect has gone by, lol

Ill pass on this i think. The A.I is shocking and although there's a few cool moves, it doesnt do anything for me.

I think this game coulod come into its own when you get full freedom.

I used to play San Andreas to to chill out, drive round, go up mountains etc...

this game offers a lot of the same.
