Well I've put Crysis away till I can afford a better gpu, as it's so pretty it seems a shame to play it on low/medium and still only get 15-20fps.

So I went out looking for a new game to play and saw this on steam for about £5.
Remember loving the demo. The levels are truly huge even crysis seems small compard to the size of this game. Its not got any decent physic's or a nano suit but damn am really enjoying the game. Flying around the islands stealing boats, helicopters, planes, cars, bikes everything is rideable.

Theres a decent array of vehicles too and I keep finding new ones. The levels are easy and its very arcady but i can't seem to put it down, its like your own spy movie in a game. Brilliant.

It does have its bugs mind but then so does crysis. I was surprised as well that I get arounf 40-55fps nearly all the time on what i consider to be my aging gpu. For £5 this game is totally worth it if you missed it give the demo a try and see if you can get on with it.

Me and a few mates tried it when I downloaded the demo from steam.
Probably one of the tackiest games I have ever played....

Remember playing the demo when it came out.. and then again a bit later. I did enjoy flying around etc, parachuting, jumping from a helicopter and landing on a boat without even using a parachute, but the bugs and apparent repetitiveness just put me off too much. I mean... You need a car - you see a vehicle coming toward you but you turn around to see if there's one closer. There's not. So you turn back round to wait for the other one and it's disappeared completely. The problem is when you're being chased you might have to keep turning round trying to find a car and you can spend about a minute just chasing disappearing cars :s

The combat was laughable, the animations were shocking. The only thing i liked was the chute tho could have been better an the enviroment (size). The vehicals were crap the models were crap the animations were crap the missions were crap. It was indeed crap.. So i think you know where im going with this. :p

Sounds about right if its a console port. Same thing with the GTA games - vehicles/pedestrians randomly generated/vanishing within a certain distance from your character. Maybe its console memory limitations or maybe its just easier for the developers to do it that way.

It was $7.99 or something last weekend on steam maybe a one off deal. The game is not by far an A class title at all. But for £5 I though it was well worth the money.

It still runs like complete **** on my machine so might as well stick with Crysis! Also it seems to have some sort of memory leak because it gradually gets slower and slower the longer you keep playing for...
