Just curious!! Horizontal lines on new monitor

I just got a Hyundai W240D-TN 24" this Monday passed and when I use it for HD ....for example my Xbox or Ps3 it flickers...kinda hard to explain.. It's kinda like horizontal lines around the screen for a couple of minutes then they disappear ish...

Are they coloured or grey/black light bands?

Have you figured this out yet? I just bought one of these panels and hoping it's not a standing problem with the model...
