Weeeeell, depends how much you like saving starving kids/drinking beer... :rolleyes:

And yeah, format before sale is always good

I bought a drive off eBay before and found it full of naughty stuff.

I formatted it though. Such a spoilsport. Plus, it was probably covered in viruses.

Jeez dude, virus check, stick it on CD, then format, you should know the drill!

(My mate has a large collection gleaned this way!)

I'd take a look on it and report it to the police. Just in case it contained something really valueable to that person.

Nice to know you people would hand in photography/phone equipment....1Gb cards weren't cheap not so long ago...

If nobody claims it from the police then I'd hassle them to give it to you, sure, but I couldn't just keep it
