Just fried some delicious cheap steaks!

It's the veg that tips it over the edge for me. Fair enough on the roasters and the steak. No excuse for that tinned veg, it's vile!

As people said. You can buy a whole bag of organic carrots for around a quid. One carrot is pennies.

Other than that, it's certainly not the worst plate of food I've seen. Some people sit down to frozen smart price chicken (not really chicken) nuggets, beans and chips every night.

You should try buying proper pepper, you can buy it in a grinder and it's not expensive at all, couple of quid for a decent one. Will make a huge difference to your food. Same goes for salt.

What's wrong with the black pepper I used? What's next, make my own cutlery and crockery? :p
 
It's preground, therefore loses flavour sat in the container. Peppercorns in a grinder are freshly ground every time you use it.
