everyone always raves about battery grips. i don't understand why. they to me, just seem to make the camera bulky and unblanced?
IMO it actually helps balance the camera. With a flash gun mounted, my 350D feels top heavy and unbalanced. Don't really care about the camera's size either - It's not exactly pocketable either way so it's always on a neck strap or in a bag.everyone always raves about battery grips. i don't understand why. they to me, just seem to make the camera bulky and unblanced?
I don't use one either - prefer without![]()
I prefer with, need to get one actually. It's annoying when your whole hand doesn't fit on the camera

shouldn't have bought a fiddly little canon then, should you?![]()

I beleive the XXD buttons are on top next to the screen which the XXXD lacks.
Big lens to grip with left hand, decent camera grip that doesn't leave 1/4 of your right hand useless. Of course you wouldstill disagree tbh..
