Anyone know of any good books to learn about Macs? Never used one before and we've just started supporting them at work (I-Mac and Mini Mac's), so my boss has bought me a Mac Mini and asked me to learn about them. Great  :D

Cool, looking at getting one myself but waiting (if Apple ever do) get round to bumping up the specs to a Core 2 Duo :)

Let us know how you get on.

The "Missing Manual" books are great for the basics - but it depends on what else you want to learn really - the missing manual ones are broad and very helpful though.

Mac mini is great.

I got mine in march i think, i was holding out to see if any updates were happening, but i didnt see any real benefits for what id be using it for..

1.66ghz core duo and 1gb ram is pretty sufficient for my general use with occasional apps.

Its a pretty awesome media centre, although i love frontrow.. it needs updating and quicktime needs to support more file types.

But for lying in bed with the remote flicking through frontrow.. not too shabby :p

Runs fine with parallels too so its a charm.

Its just a better apple tv
