Just got a new deal from o2

Yes ask to be put through to upgrades.

Get the details of the deal youve seen and read it out to the person on the phone and say can you match that. As you're in the last month of your contract they will usually price match with another providers deal.
Try it now, most will let you upgrade a month early. I get to upgrade mine 3 months early because ive been with them so long but they have told me in the past that they will price match when theres a month left on my contract. I just get what I want out of them on the 3 month phone call.

They wanted to charge me £90 for my n82 - I got it for free, I am paying £35 a month for 600 minutes, free o2 to o2 calls, unlimited web browsing (its actually a £5 bolt on so my line rental is only £30) and 1000 txts a month.
Thats pretty much what I was prepared to pay.

They have like a points system depending on how much youve spent with them over the past year (the more youve spent the more points you have) and the more points you have the more money they can knock off your upgrade.

Go on give it a try, sound like you mean business, sound like you know what you want, and get it from them.

Same situation here - retentions are pretty good at O2

I'm about to switch to O2, do you think I'd be able to get this?
N95 8gb Black
400mins + 1000txts
Unlimited Web Bolt On

£25/month... or am I reaching!

Gonna see what deal they can sort me out with this week, due an upgrade next week and the new N78 is out with O2 next week aswell according to someone I spoke to last week.

ah so in places olike starbucks where they have t-mobile wifi, (i tried and coulnt connect) you have to pay for it, but if its an O2 service provider of the wifi then with that bolt on it's free? hummmmm i dont think ive ever seen O2 wifi anywhere remotely near me :p

This got me thinking... I've seen t-mobile everywhere but not O2. So I did a bit of research and found that the O2 wifi gives you access to The Cloud. I've seen The Cloud in loads of places all over London (not publicly advertised but my phone picks them up). So it's actually quite good coverage. Looking at the clouds website they seem to concentrate on pubs and hotels quite a lot.

To be honest I think I'd find t-mobile of more use as they are in Starbucks which I use a lot. But in all honesty I'm not that bothered about wifi if I had 3G and an 'unlimited' (hehe yeah right) tariff.

I just phoned up looking to move from PAYg to online 35 and was offered free home broadband for free. That would give me...

600 mins
1000 texts
'unlimited' web (about 3gb I seem to hear?)
home broadband
a free phone of some description (e.g. N95)
