Just got back from having my cat put too sleep

As a cat and dog owner, I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. Focus on the positive.

Obviously loved and had a good life. Over the rainbow bridge, waiting for you. :)
 
Looks like he was a delightful cat. Sorry for your loss but I hope you can find peace that you were able to enjoy those 13 years together
 
I thought I was in motors and was quite confused by the title.


Poor thing, I quite like cats - very clever, the majority.

Regarding the euthanasia, was the process spiritual at all or was it quite clinical? Feel free not to answer as it is a tender subject, I'm just curious is all.
 
I'm so sorry. Were you able to be in the room when it happened? I had to have my cat PTS due to cancer right at the beginning of lockdown and I had to hand him over in the car park and couldn't be in the room with him when it happened. Tore me apart :(
 
Know how you're feeling, had my little fella put to sleep last month. Blood clot took out his rear legs.

Cried like hell.

They did it on my parcel shelf behind the building. Needed to be with him when he went.

House feels empty now without a cat.

Yes i was with my cat when they put her to sleep
The first picture in the thread is of cat on the vet work top only seconds or minutes before they put her to sleep

My niece who took that picture was really really upset after it was put to sleep

Having her put down hit me hell a lot harder then i was expecting, I Just lost all interest in everything all day yesterday after she was put down..
